Anthony joined the Jim Ross Law Group, P.C. in October 2017 as an associate attorney. He is a native of Lewisville, Texas and has lived in North Texas since returning from College Station, Texas in 2012 where he received a BS in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, Anthony attended Texas A&M University School of Law where he earned his JD in 2017.
While attending law school, Anthony served as the Survey Editor for the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law’s annual Survey on Oil & Gas. Additionally, Anthony authored an article exploring the potential criminal liabilities associated with drone use in Texas which was published by the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law in 2016.
Anthony also obtained a temporary trial card during his final year of law school which allowed him to gain valuable courtroom experience while interning with the Family Justice Division of the Collin County District Attorney’s Office. There, he was able to participate in hearings related to juvenile criminal cases and Child Protective Services cases under the guidance of experienced criminal attorneys. Previously, Anthony interned with Shanklin & Cox, LP in Denton, Texas and with the legal department of XTO Energy, Inc., an ExxonMobil subsidiary located in Fort Worth, Texas.
Anthony is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
